Coventry City manager Frank Lampard is looking to raid former club Chelsea with a loan move for Sam Rak-Sakyi.
Talks are scheduled for next week after the West Midlands club made initial contact over a deal to take the 19-year-old on loan for the rest of the season.
Rak-Sakyi is highly thought of at Chelsea, and has broken into Enzo Maresca’s senior squad on occasion this season.
The midfielder has made four appearances in the Europa Conference League, including starting the 3-1 win over Astana in Kazakhstan in December.
The England Under-18 international is now of interest to Coventry, who appointed former Chelsea captain and manager Lampard in late November.
